Kendra Dawson was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from BYU and is currently applying to Master’s of Social Work programs. She enjoys connecting students to resources as she knows college can be difficult to maneuver alone.
While at BYU, Kendra worked in the University Advisement Center as an Information Specialist and as a TA for Student Development 214R (Test Preparation and Test Taking Strategies) and loved helping students learn about BYU and the different opportunities it offers. This made it an easy decision to return to the office as an employee upon graduating. She also has professional experience working in the prison system, treatment centers, and has interned for the Division of Child and Family Services.
