My Story:

If you are feeling lost, anxious, or afraid about the future, I know exactly how you feel!

It took me almost 2 full years at BYU before I discovered I wanted to study Psychology. During that time I felt left behind. It seemed like everyone else knew exactly what they wanted to do, while I felt overwhelmed and lost. I would love the opportunity to help you get to know yourself and explore, wherever you are along your path.

Exploration Experience

My exploration experience is a story of trial and error. If I was interested in a major, I took the intro class. Because of this I have experience with marketing, nutrition, global supply chain and many other majors. I also have seriously considered law school and a PhD. All these vastly different experiences led me to finding what I truly value, and am passionate about. Psychology was a great mix of these elements for me as I am passionate about uplifting others, and I love interacting with other people.

Why is Exploring Important to Me

Exploring will help you build your dream life! Exploration gets us out of our comfort zone! Throughout my exploration process I needed hands-on experience to learn about different majors and career paths. This meant putting myself out there, working at jobs that were challenging, and taking classes that pushed me academically. These types of opportunities helped me understand what I wanted my dream life to include and not include.

Looking Back

Looking back, I do NOT regret taking time to explore and learn about myself! Although it will take me extra time to graduate, what I learned about myself through the exploration process is invaluable and is something I will hold near and dear for the rest of my life. Knowing my values, my skills, and interests have informed and enlightened every aspect of my life.
