My Story:
My interest in Psychology stems from a natural ability to listen. Through the years I have had many experiences in which I was an emotional support for many people, including friends who confided in me. I had always wished to know how to help them better since they trusted me and turned to me for help. Studying in a field that would prepare me to do that better is something I was looking for when I started at BYU. Although I know Psychology is a great path for me, I'm still figuring out which career path I’d like to pursue specifically. Ever since choosing my major, I have found great value in chatting with individuals that have a background in Psychology – there really are so many opportunities! I look forward to learning more and clarifying my goals. From this experience, I am passionate about helping others find their way.

Why is Exploring Important to Me?
Exploring is super important because if you don’t explore how will you know what you don’t know?
There are so many possibilities and opportunities out in the world for me! If I become complacent and avoid leaving my comfort zone, I will lose those opportunities and miss out on experiences that could change my life for the better. There are so many benefits for those that explore but not many for the ones that choose to avoid it.
Looking Back
Before beginning this job in Exploration Point, I wasn’t aware of and proactive regarding the resources available to all BYU students. I’ve since realized that there is so much I can do. The only thing limiting me is my inability to reach out and seek guidance. In essence, I’m learning how to better explore my path and I can’t wait to share it with you!
