Becky Rock grew up in Gilbert, Arizona. She graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with her bachelor’s degree in English Education and taught 7th grade Language Arts at South Jordan Middle School before deciding to return to school. She is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership here at BYU with an emphasis in Education Policy.
Throughout her career Becky has been involved in a variety of non-profit, youth organizations where she learned that everyone comes from different backgrounds and have strengths and weaknesses unique to just them. She enjoys working as an Academic Advisor because it gives her the opportunity to interact with students daily, and she loves being able to help them navigate through their BYU experience as they find the best path for them.
